The table tennis club of Saint-Jean-des-Vignes, relaunched a year ago, had decided to pay tribute to the founder of the club in the 1960s. It was therefore last weekend that the first Edmond-Frache challenge.
Responding to the invitations of the local club, the players from Villefranche-sur-Saône and L’Arbresle came to discover the magnificent place of the development room located in the basement of the school.
After the selection games, it was finally the favorite Thomas Ferry, from Villefranche, who won the title ahead of his club colleague Clément Damour. During this competition, the local table tennis players achieved great performances such as those of Thierry Chaintron, Guy Frache or Christophe Gouttard. At the end of the games, the participants forged promising links to work on an axis bringing together the three clubs.
