a complicated season for rugby

The presidents, David Darribey and Nicolas Raucoule, then proceeded to the usual thanks: the municipalities of Parentis and Labouheyre represented by Jean-Pierre Rimonteil and Jean Mesplède, the heads of the technical services of the two municipalities, the leaders, players, volunteers , partners and all the supporters and friends who work, in their own way, for the club.

A special thank you was sent to Freddy Cazes-Carrère for all the work done over many decades and who expressed the wish to leave his place in the JSL rugby school.

A complicated season

After two seasons in federal 3, including a promising first year, 2021-2022 was a complicated season, with only three wins out of 18 games for team 1 and a slightly more positive ratio for team 2. For the season that comes, Pierre Nassiet will take over the management of all the categories, Xavier Margaritti and Frédéric Jacquet will be in charge of team 1, Philippe Clavé and Ousmane Badji will lead team 2.

The cadets, with a workforce of 32 young people, had a solid and united group which, despite a chaotic start, improved during the season. After a 4e place of a raised hen, they failed in 8e final of the regional challenge.

The juniors made a good start to the season then slowed down over the winter period. Despite everything, they qualified on the two tables in which they competed but failed twice against the same team.

The balance sheet shows a positive balance of €2,563.44.
