A read. In bookstores: A fairway named desire

Warning: this is a cocktail to drink without moderation and no matter where you are… Note however that by turning the pages of this book – to be tasted in order or not -, it is very likely that you couldn’t control that little smirk. The one who will not fail to accompany you throughout this “journey into absurdity”.

The culprit of these little moments out of time is called Pierre-Michel Bonnot who was for a long time one of the pillars of the rugby and golf sections of L’Équipe and who, for ten years, has been dragging his pen on behalf of the Journal Golf. So that’s the end of the story!

Indeed, it is these chronicles – 100 in number for once – that are compiled in this little literary UFO… It is about putting, swing, clubhouse bar, bottomless hole, shoes with nails, magic frogs, evil crows or talking bags…

Fruit of the author’s imagination, these stories – sometimes tinged with truth – are all as exhilarating as each other. All golf lovers will meet there. For the others, the less specialists, there is no question of leaving the green: the Pierre-Michel Bonnot style is an invitation to good humor. The word is right. The pun is irresistible.
