A successful rugby school

Chatillon-en-Bazois. A successful rugby school. The rugby club Les Beaux du Bazois, run by Thierry Burlin, demonstrates all its qualities as a training club with a high-performance rugby school. In addition, it is one of the only rugby schools to develop women’s rugby in Nièvre (with USON).

Fabrice Giraud, the training manager, announces more than forty children, including eleven women. Rugby is very popular with young people aged 5 to 14. Supervision is provided by Clémence Lancien, Maxime Giraud, under the guidance of Fabrice Giraud and the parents who give a hand.

It’s impressive to see the stadium full of fusions, from children to the four stadium rooms and parents all around. Training takes place every Friday at the Stade des Fusions from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for the U6, U8, U10, U12, U14.

This year, the club presents a team of U 14 to 10 (only with children from the club) in the championship. The club also has a mixed touch rugby team which trains on Wednesday evenings at the Mergers Stadium.

For more information. Thierry Burlin, president, on or Fabrice Giraud, head of the rugby school, on or even at the Mergers stadium during training hours (Friday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) .
