Already a very big match for the first foursomes of the Presidents Cup

Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele will take on former Masters winners Hideki Matsuyama of Japan and Adam Scott of Australia in the first Foursomes sessions of the Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow in North Carolina.

The top two pairs from each side will face off in the first match of Foursomes’ first session of the Presidents Cup in Charlotte this Thursday.

American captain Davis Love has decided to launch the two best friends Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele and Trevor Immelman an unprecedented pair with his two best elements of the international team Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama.

Then we will also closely follow the match between Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth against Sungjae Im and Canadian Corey Conners.

Collin Morikawa and rookie Cameron Young then face off against Tom Kim and KH Lee in match three, before two of the hottest players this year, namely world No. Woo Kim and Cam Davis in the fourth game of the day.

The fifth and final match, pitting Tony Finau and last week’s winner Max Homa against Taylor Pendrith and Chilean Mito Pereira.

Kevin Kisner, Billy Horschel, Christiaan Bezuidenhout and Sebastian Munoz were left out by their respective captains.
