The folder Finn Russell takes a completely different turn. While the opener of the XV du Chardon (30 years old; 65 selections) was announced to extend his lease, expiring in June 2023, the latter should finally leave the Race 92 at the end of the season.
According to sports mailthe club of Bathplaying in the Premiership (1e English division), set his sights on the Racingman, who also pleased Northampton, to make him his new “marquee player” (player whose salary does not enter the salary cap, editor’s note).
Discussions between the two camps are at a “very advanced stage” and his arrival will now appear “very likely” according to the Scottish media. Finn Russell should even receive an even higher salary than the one he currently has with the Sky and White club (1 million euros) and will thus become the “highest paid” player in Bath.
