Corinne Deacon, deprived of three executives including Wendie Renard, has chosen to field the majority of her usual incumbents available for the last Euro preparation match, Friday (9:10 p.m.) in Orleans against Vietnam, according to the composition revealed.
For this second and final trial run, six days after the success against Cameroon (4-0), the Blue coach is deprived of her captain Wendie Renard, the left side Sakina Karchaoui and the middle Grace Geyoro, all preserved after physical glitches.
The last named once again gives way to Clara Matéo, the Paris FC player, credited with an assist last week on the opener. She occupies the midfield with Sandie Toletti, Charlotte Bilbault occupying her position as sentry a notch below.
Aïssatou Tounkara, armband on his arm, replaces the new Renard in the central hinge, along with the experienced Griedge Mbock.
Alongside the defense, Marion Torrent and Eve Perisset were chosen to start. Karchaoui is unavailable on the left and Selma Bacha is not renewed.
In attack, the wings are occupied on the right by Kadidiatou Diani, left to rest against Cameroon, and on the left by Delphine Cascarino. Center-forward Marie-Antoinette Katoto, who extended her contract at Paris SG on Friday for three seasons, completes this attacking trio, which could be aligned with the Euro.
Composition of the French team:
Peyraud-Magnin – Périsset, Torrent, Tounkara (cap.), Mbock – Matéo, Bilbault, Toletti – Diani, Katoto, D. Cascarino.
