Brigitte Henriques has decided to break the silence. Invited to Europe 1 on Tuesday, she wanted to respond to the accusations resulting from the investigation by journalist Romain Molina into cases of sexual harassment within the French Football Federation when she was vice-president (2017-2021).
“The Federation has pronounced a dismissal against the incriminated trainer. So it shows that there was no will, and even less on my part, to bury anything, ”she defends herself about Angélique Roujas, guilty of having had sex with underage players. As a reminder, in his investigation Molina points out that the FFF only seized the legal authorities once and only did so under pressure from the stars of the time.
“At the time when the facts took place, I was not presented to Clairefontaine”, justified the president of the CNOSF. “When I was a teacher, I myself seized the public prosecutor with the head of the establishment, when I had a doubt and wanted to protect a victim”. She even called the FFF’s decision “avant-garde”.
For the moment, the revelations of the French journalist have not had an echo from the FFF.
