Cantal: increase in licensees at the Arpajon-sur-Cère table tennis club

Indeed, the bar of 80 licensees will certainly be exceeded this season, registrations being still in progress until the end of September. The progression of the workforce is more than significant due to the arrival of 17 young people who have just taken their license at CO Arpajon which remains the flagship club of the department where 8 clubs are designated.

A club labeled “Welcome”

In addition to competition, table tennis is also offered by the club in a leisure, youth and “Healthy Ping” version, thanks to a staff trained in these different disciplines. This diversity of the offer has also been recognized by the Aura table tennis league, which at the start of the year was awarded CO Arpajon with the “Accueil” label.

On the sporting level, 3 teams are involved in the departmental championship (2 senior teams in D1 and a young team in D3). In addition to the club’s supervision, specific training is led by Sylvain Pourcel, a graduate of the Youth and Sports State.

Among the actions carried out, a new flyer attractive was created for the general public. It serves both as a membership form, specifies the operation of the club and mentions all useful information.

The club has acquired 3D glasses that allow table tennis to be played in virtual reality.

Regarding Ping health – Ping cancer, CO Arpajon is the only club in the AURA region approved “Sport Santé Bien Etre”. New contacts have been established with France Alzheimer and France Diabète in order to be able to welcome a public weakened by the disease.
