Danish international Andreas Holst JENSEN joins the MHB while Karl WALLINIUS starts for Kiel.

MONTPELLIER HANDBALL is pleased to formalize the arrival of Andreas Holst JENSEN, 27-year-old Danish international left-back from Allborg (Denmark). At the same time, the MHB announces the departure of Karl WALLINIUS for Kiel (Germany).

Coming from Allborg, a Danish club finalist in the 2021-2022 Champions League, where he has been playing since 2017, Andreas HOLST has joined the blues and whites of the MHB for a period of three years. Andreas, on trial in Montpellier for several days, showed a very strong desire to join the club. The left-back of 2m02 and 104 kg accustomed to major European events, thus convinced the management, the staff and the players during the internship at Les Carroz d’Arrache and therefore joined the MHB team for the next three seasons. .

At the same time, the club decided to accept Karl WALLINIUS’ contract buyout offer from KIEL, a renowned German club. Montpellier Handball did not want to part with Karl, but the player’s desire to get closer to his family and loved ones was very strong. The 23-year-old Swedish international will therefore wear the colors of Kiel in 2022-2023.
