Enzo Camilleri will miss the start of the FCG season

As FC Grenoble prepares to play its first (friendly) matches of the 2022-2023 season, its infirmary is already starting to fill up. After winger Erwan Dridi, seriously injured in the knee and returned to Lyon with cruciate ligaments (at least six months of absence), another Grenoble was injured during summer preparation.

It has been learned that hooker Enzo Camilleri suffered a hamstring tear during a training session last week. An injury that will take him away from the field for six to eight weeks.

The young hooker from Isère (20 years old) will therefore miss the two preparation matches (in Béziers on Friday August 5 and against Oyonnax on Friday August 12 in Montmélian), but also all or part of the 1st block of the Pro D2 championship, with an opening against Béziers on August 26 at the Stade des Alpes, followed in September by matches in Agen, Oyonnax, then against Rouen and Aurillac in Isère.
