European Professional Club Rugby | Argentinians in the EPCR Challenge Cup well represented with the Pumas

Argentina’s starting XV, which will face Australia in their Rugby Championship opener in Mendoza (Saturday, 9.05pm), will feature five players who will feature in next season’s EPCR Challenge Cup.

Biarritz Olympique scrum-half Tomás Cubelli is back in the Pumas starting XV after missing out on the Argentines’ win over Scotland last month. Newcastle Falcons’ Matías Orlando will be partnered at center with USAP player Jerónimo de la Fuente, while Marcos Kremer, playing for Stade Français Paris, will start the game as a flanker. Benetton Rugby stalwart Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro will also start to challenge the Wallabies, while team-mates Thomas Gallo and Tomas Albornoz will be on the substitutes’ bench at kick-off, along with Newcastle’s Matias Moroni.
