We don’t stop the Servette of Geneva. Last year, the Swiss club founded in 2014 acquired its eighth climb in as many seasons. Servette de Genève already had in its ranks players who passed through the Top 14 and the Pro D2 such as Geoffrey Fabbri and Lucas Chouvet (ex-Oyonnax) or the former centre-winger of Valence-Romans, Jeremy Scalese. For this new fiscal year 2022-2023, the Swiss club has decided to arm itself even more heavily, with recruits of weight and experience. Among these reinforcements, we find the former hooker from Grenoble and Pau, Laurent Bouchet (33 Years). After a year without rugby, he returns to the lawns to bring all his experience to Geneva. Trained in Pont-de-Claix (Isère), he has 82 Top 14 matches, 17 Challenge Cup and 34 Pro D2.
The promoted Swiss also formalized the arrival of the pillar Damien Jordan (35 years old), passed through Bourg-en-Bresse, Montauban and Brive. This solid bearded man has played 71 Top 14 matches and 36 Pro D2 matches. Last season, he played for Chambery (National 1). Finally, the ultimate rookie went through the Top 14 and the Pro D2 is called Karim Bougherara (33 Years). The right pillar has traveled to Bourgoin-Jallieu, Auch, Pau, Toulon (2 Top 14 matches), Bourg-en-Bresse, Massy and recently Rumilly (Federal 1). He is making his return to Servette, after having already passed through the Swiss club from 2018 to 2020.

The recruitment of Servette de Genève is already complete, as confirmed to Rugby News, the technical director of the Swiss club, Clément Fromont. One thing is certain, we will still have to count on the Genevans in Federal 1 during the 2022-2023 season!
