The Raf welcomes the Girondins, Saturday August 6, on behalf of the 2nd day of Ligue 2.
A week after a draw at Quevilly (0-0) at the start of the season, Raf will play its first home game on Saturday August 6 at 7 p.m. against Bordeaux. If he demonstrated the first outing of his “coherent” men, Laurent Peyrelade hopes, this time that they will be “more effective”, against a very young Bordeaux team.
The Ruthenian coach brought back a group similar to the one who had traveled to Normandy. Lucas Buadès and Amiran Sanaia (recovery) are still missing, while Adilson Malanda, transferred to the United States in the week, has packed his bags.
After a hectic summer behind the scenes, Bordeaux replaced their championship with a draw at home against Valenciennes (0-0). Placed under payroll control by the DNCG, the relegated from Ligue 1 has still not been able to recruit and is counting on its young people at the start of the season.
Coach David Guion will also be able to rely on the return of midfielder Fransergio, suspended during the first day. On the other hand, Honduran Alberth Elis, Girondin’s top scorer last season, is still missing due to injury.
