Football: US Orléans and Bourges Foot back to back

US Orléans has finished its preparation this Friday evening at the La Source stadium. Like three days earlier against Saint-Pryvé (0-0), it failed to win against Bourges Foot, another N2 team, also well in the legs (1-1).

prime US Orléans – Saint-Pryvé: the match

The US Orléans, however, showed a bit sharper offensively than facing Saint-Pryvé. Lepaul took a good ball from Dabasse who was waiting for the cross from Mokdad (4th) and Saint-Ruf missed his recovery (25th).

A first but of school

The USO finally opened the scoring with a very nice collective movement, starting from a recovery from Saint-Ruf in its area, a directed control from Ndiaye which destabilized the Berruyer midfield, a relay from Mokdad, then a cross from Agounon , punctuated by a Lepaul’s victorious diving header (27th). Stunning !

Led in the score, the Berruyers did not have any demerit, with in particular a breakthrough from Farnabe whose shot was blocked (20th). The equalization of Maanane’s header, well alone at the far post, on a cross from Diaz, was therefore not illogical (35th).

Tactical change

The many changes at the break for Bourges or just before the hour mark for Orléans may not have changed the situation. It was even Laurent Bernardo’s players who created the best chances with Debal who found the side netting (55th) and Sanson, alone against Viot, who missed the target (58th).

The transition to 4-4-2 for the last twenty minutes gave a little pep to the USO. Dabasse opened his way to the goal but his shot was blocked (73′), that of O. Ndiaye not worrying… P. Ndiaye, the Berruyer goalkeeper, his namesake (79′).

A Friday in Concarneau

If Bourges still has two weeks to rev up before entering the league in Andrézieux (August 20), US Orléans will attack from this Friday, August 12, the National with a trip to Concarneau.
