Four days of rugby and gastronomy in Clermont-Ferrand: meet at Jaude for “Savoure”

One year from the World Cup, the Regional Rugby League is taking part in the event in order to transmit its values ​​of sharing and passion. “The objective is to promote this sport in all its forms, such as adapted or university rugby, to the general public”, recalls Jean-Yves Dijol for the AuRa Rugby League.

This Wednesday, school groups could learn rugby on the ground and the inflatable structures installed on the square all week.
On the program in the afternoon: meetings including a round table on the environmental responsibility of sports clubs with Julien Pierre of FairPlay for Planet, at 2 p.m. At 4 p.m., Pierre Millet, manager of the AuRa rugby site in Saint-Étienne, will explain how the city is preparing to host the World Cup matches.

As for gastronomy, the Fourme d’Ambert AOP, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the appellation, offers demonstrations of cheese-based recipes. The General Confederation of Retail Food will provide a virtual reality helmet for cutting and setting up businesses.
