Gimont/Aubiet. Football: a promising weekend for young people

Last Saturday, the U11 (D1) of the Entente Gimont-Aubiet were in Monferran-Savès, for a nice morning of sport, accompanied by their coaches Alain Delval and Mikael Cazères. Three matches were on the program: L’Isle-Jourdain I, Monferran-Savès I and Cologne-Mauvezin I. With a narrow defeat 2 to 1, a victory 1 to 0 and a draw 0 to 0, the “big guys” of the The Entente Gimont-Aubiet begins to be on the ground and to play as a real team. All the players showed great fighting spirit and never gave up. For their part, the U11 (D2), mostly made up of U10s, were in Mirande in the afternoon. They faced Mirande I and II there. Faced with techniques from Astaracais, the “little reds” suffered. Despite several parades from Lola in goal, the 4-0 defeat is logical. Against Mirande II, in pouring rain and an icy wind, the “little reds” decide to set the record straight and win 2 goals to 0 thanks to the first goals of Mathéo and Lilou.
