The week started with the gastronomy cup, largely sponsored by the Intermarché du Creusot, but not only, as evidenced by the great prize money for the competition.
The endowment offered to the players was worthy of an opening competition. It was possible to win meals offered by the Saint Pierre, the Dragon d’Or, the Amarone, the Auberge Le Petit Blanc, the Nota Bene and the restaurants of the Kyriad and New Konine hotels. Several golf courses have offered green fees. Laurent-Perrier and Au Monde du Vin champagnes were also present. Golfy, the chain to which the golf course belongs, offers two stays, including one in Spain obtained by lot by Henri Béraud. Finally, Frédéric Gonçalves, director of the Intermarché du Creusot, largely won the event. We therefore understand that the competition was richly endowed to the delight of the winners.
The day ended with the announcement of the scores, the thanks of the sponsors and the traditional cocktail. In terms of performance, note the victories of Marie-Ange Michaud and Thomas Joly in the proposed drive competition on hole 13.
The next meeting of the 30th anniversary of golf will take place this Wednesday, in teams of 4, on the theme of the bitten apple and its colors – emblem of golf.
