Pro D2 clubs, FC Grenoble and US Carcassonne were penalized with a withdrawal of points and a fine by the financial policeman of the National Rugby League (LNR), namely the latter, Monday, November 21 in a press release.

Current 2e of the classification, Grenoble was penalized with a withdrawal of five points, two of which were suspended, and a €20,000 fine due to the “Non-compliance with regulatory provisions and decisions” of the Professional Championships Control Commission (CCCP).

Carcassonne, for its part, saw itself imposed a withdrawal of three suspended points and a fine of 20,000 €, including 13,000 suspended, for the same reason, as well as a “inconsistency and/or implausibility of the initial and/or updated budget”.
The two clubs have a period of seven days to appeal this decision, specifies the LNR in its press release.
