Lachapelle-Auzac. The “Golf and flavor” competition delights the competitors

Sunday, September 11 took place at the Lachapelle-Auzac golf course, the traditional “Golf and flavor” competition (which bears its name well, since the partners are Ets Godard, foie gras, and Louis Roques-La Vieile Prune). This year, a Saint-Emilion property, Ch√Ęteau Jean Voisin, has been added. It is under an ideal temperature that sixty players found themselves on the course of the Souillac Golf and Country Club.

The gross winners were Isabelle Roux Rosier and Alain Petit with a magnificent 36 and, net, with 44 points, it was Francis Lajoinie and Jean Claude Pegoraro who were the winners.

The competition ended with a very nice tasting offered by the sponsors.

The day before, teams A and B were traveling to Occitan golf courses (in Gaillac and Montauban) to participate in the Espiaut trophy. On land still damaged by the summer heat, the results were average. Captains Daniel Corroyez and Adrien Cayla will have to motivate the participants during the second stage on September 24 in Estolosa and Montal, but the appointment is made.

Finally, some volunteers and the teacher took part in the Sports Association Festival at the Souillac playground. On this occasion, we remind you that the Golf School is resuming its lessons and that the SGCC is organizing an open house on Sunday, September 25. Do not hesitate to come and try this discipline.
