Lectoure: the new USL Rugby season in preparation

After a program followed individually by the players over the month of July, the preparation for the new season started last Friday with the resumption of collective training. Three training sessions per week will take place during the month of August, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday evenings.

This season, the two senior teams are evaluated at the regional level (formerly honor) of pool 3 of the Occitanie rugby league (LOR) with two other Gers clubs (Vic-Fezensac and Masseube), five Upper Pyrenees clubs (Coteaux de l stop, Maubourguet, Trie-sur-Baïse, Vic Bigorre, Castelnau-Magnoac) and two Haut-Garonne clubs (Montréjeau and Rassemblement VAL XV). The 1st day of the championship is scheduled for September 18 and the official order of the oppositions will be confirmed soon by the competition commission.

The USL is also involved in the Challenge des 3 Tours with two days on September 4 in Lectoure, followed by the traditional start-of-season training course and September 11 outside.

In the meantime, there will be training led by an official referee on Friday August 12, two friendly matches with Mauvezin on Saturday August 27 at 5.30 p.m. for team 2 and 7 p.m. for team 1 (location to be specified) and on Friday September 2 in Lectoure with Cœur de Lomagne at 7:30 p.m. for team 2.
