After recruiting Przemyslaw Frankowski from the Chicago Fire for 2.5 million euros last season, RC Lens is about to finalize the arrival of a new Major League Soccer player. The northern club negotiates with New England Revolution the recruitment of Adam Buksa. This 25-year-old striker must commit in the next few hours with the RCL, until June 2027.
The transfer is valued at 6 million euros (plus bonuses) for this very physical Polish international (7 caps, 5 goals) (1.93 m). Buksa has scored seven goals in ten MLS appearances since the US season opener in late February. This left-hander was coming to the end of his contract next December with the Boston-area franchise.
The striker arrived at the New England Revolution in January 2020 from Polish club Pogon Szczecin for 4 million euros. He scored 35 goals in 73 games with the Massachusetts franchise, for seven assists.
