Melvine Malard extended for three seasons

Olympique Lyonnais announced this Tuesday afternoon the extension of the contract of its French international, Melvine Malard, for three additional seasons, i.e. until June 30, 2026.

Arrived at the age of 14 from Reunion Island, the striker signed her first professional contract with the club in July 2017. A few months later, the native of Saint-Denis made her debut with the group. professional in 1/8th of the Women’s Champions League final against BIIK Kazygurt. In order to gain experience and playing time, Melvine Malard is ready, in D1 Arkema, at FC Fleury during the 2019/2020 season.

At only 22 years old, the young Reunionese has already played 78 matches and scored 27 but all competitions combined with the club and won 4 Women’s Champions League, 2 French championships and 1 French Cup. The French international (21 caps), who participated in Euro 2022 with Les Bleues this summer, also has a European U19 championship on her record, when she was named top scorer in the competition (2019).
