Nantes dominates Szeged –

HBC Nantes picked up their first points in the Handball Champions League on Thursday at the H Arena by beating Hungary’s Szeged 35-30 on the second day of the group stage.

Heavily defeated against the Polish club Kielce, finalist of the last edition and winner of the C1 in 2016, last week (40-33), the “H” launched its European campaign against one of the weakest teams in the group B. Nantes takes the provisional sixth place in group B, ahead of Szeged and the Norwegian club Elverum.

Nantes continues the beautiful European week of the French hand after the laborious success of Paris Saint-Germain against the Poles of Plock on Wednesday (37-33) in group A of the C1. C1 semi-finalist in 2021 and finalist in 2018, the HBC will confirm this success against Elverum on the occasion of the third day on September 28.
