It is now a well-marked route that Teddy Iribaren will follow. The Racing 92 scrum-half will leave Ile-de-France at the end of the season to join La Rochelle, like French internationals Teddy Thomas and Yoan Tanga, and prop Georges-Henri Colombe, based in Charente -Maritime in the 2022 off-season, or their former defense coach, Ronan O’Gara, landed in 2019, and Donnacha Ryan, who became forwards coach with the Yellow and Black last year.
According to information from South West published on Monday, and which we are able to confirm, the scrum half, who will celebrate his 32nd birthday this week, has signed up for three seasons.
Iribaren had been playing at Racing 92 since 2017, after two seasons at Brive. He wore the France team jersey for two selections in the summer of 2021 in Australia. Current holder of the scrum-half position in La Rochelle, Tawera Kerr-Barlow extended last year until 2024. Jules Le Bail and Thomas Berjon will arrive at the end of their contract next summer.
