The French Rugby Disciplinary Board has announced that it has sanctioned Grenoble and Carcassonne. The FCG receives a withdrawal of five points, two of which are suspended, and a fine of 20,000 euros.
The Pro D2 club was heard for “non-compliance with regulatory provisions and decisions of the CCCP“. The FCG has seven days to appeal and try to reduce its sentence.
In a press release, Grenoble indicates that “FC Grenoble Rugby has always worked in close collaboration and with the deepest respect for the authorities of French rugby and adjusts to do so. Faced with these sanctions, the club reserves the right to appeal this decision. “
