Rugby. France-Japan in Toulouse change of schedule because of the Football World Cup

The French Rugby Federation (FFR) made it official this Wednesday, September 21, 2022: the international match between XV of France and the Japanscheduled for Sunday November 20, 2022 at the Stadium of Toulouse (Upper Garonne), schedule change.

Kick-off at 4:15 p.m. advanced to 2 p.m.

Initially scheduled for 4:15 p.m., this paying meeting for the Autumn Nations Series has been brought forward to 2 p.m.. The reason ? “A time conflict” with the Football World Cup disputed in Qatar. Indeed, this November 20 will be the scene of the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador, with a kick-off scheduled for 5 p.m. Difficult for French broadcasters to have two such events at such close times.

The ticket office for the match is open again

The FFR also indicated that the ticket office for this meeting was open again. During the first salvo, a huge enthusiasm was noted for this disputed meeting in Toulouse, the Pink City having not hosted the Blues since November 2016 and a match against Samoa.
