After a nice improved victory against Tarbes (51-10), the hopes of the Section Paloise hope to confirm outside, this Saturday on the ground of the BO. “We have been working very hard for two weeks. After our defeat in Montauban (26-17), we reacted well. We are going to Biarritz to try to win, ”presents Adrian Mitu.

Arrived this summer from Soyaux-Angoulême, the 3rd line of eighteen years will chain this weekend a third tenure in a row. “My goal is to continue to learn in order to progress and be able to aim for the young French teams little by little. This summer, I had the chance to compete in the two Supersevens stages (in Perpignan and La Rochelle). It was a great experience, I was able to rub shoulders with a few professionals”.

“The Section, a club with a great history”

Originally from Romania, Adrian started rugby at the age of five. “I first played in Saint-Jean-d’Angély, then in Saintes. After two seasons in Angoulême, I was contacted by the Section Paloise. I thought about it and decided to join this club which has a great history and whose first team plays in the Top 14”. The young man from Pau, who enjoys spending time with his family and friends, is starting a bachelor’s degree in marketing this year.

Alongside his many training sessions, he is also suitable for the French rugby championship. “I like to watch the matches on TV, especially those of Castres Olympique, a team that I like. I think in a corner of my head at the XV of Romania. If I don’t manage to reach the France team, it would be a real pleasure for me to represent my country of origin, ”revealed Adrian Mitu.
