Rugby (Nationale 2): former international player and UBB player, Félix Le Bourhis joins CM Floirac – ARL

August 04, 2022

A sizeable rookie reinforces the workforce of CM Floirac, which this year evaluated in the French fourth division. Félix Le Bourhis notably passed through Bayonne, Carcassonne and Bordeaux-Bègles.

It’s not new, CM Floirac has an appetite. In the field, President Nicolas Guyanier’s club went from Federal 2 to National 2 in a flash. In this new division of French rugby, the fourth, the task does not look easy on all fronts (finances, sports…). So you might as well be the best armed! And that’s why the Right Bank club has been strengthening for a few weeks already and a record of many arrivals such as that of the Portuguese international Thibault de Freitasfrom the old Agenais and Marmandais Jordan Peyrifrom south african Wiehan Hayof the former Vannes player (Pro D2) Pacôme Gougeon and young people Mathys Barca, Maximilien Hontarrede and Romain Aleyrangues arriving from Blagnac (Nationale).

An experienced recruit

But the second most important club in the Metropolis (and in the department with RC Bassin d’Arcachon) does not stop there and has announced the arrival in its ranks of Enzo Jouannet, a young shoot that evolved with CA Brive. A homecoming for the pillar who took over in Saint-Aubin-de-Médoc before joining Saint-Médard-en-Jalles or CA Lormont.

Another new name to be added to the CM Floirac squad: Felix Le Bourhis. A well-known surname here in Gironde since the 34-year-old three-quarter center had the opportunity to shine with Union Bordeaux-Bègles between 2011 and 2016 to the point of being called up with the national team by Philippe Saint-André during a summer tour in Australia (1 selection). Subsequently passed through Bayonne, Brive and Carcassonne, the native of Pithiviers, found a certain Jandre Marais, also a former unionist, who joined the staff last year.

The season will start on Saturday September 10 at 3:00 p.m. for Floirac which will host Saint-Jean-de-Luz before going to Fleurantine the following weekend and receiving the US Marmande on the weekend of September 24th. The derby against the RCBA is scheduled for the weekend of October 15.
