For the third and last match of its first block of the Fédérale 2 season, the RCA travels to Saint-Malo. A duel of graduates and a well-known opponent.

While they rebounded perfectly, after the inaugural defeat in Le Havre, by signing a convincing victory at home against Orsay, the RCA players will find a well-known opponent. Indeed, this Sunday, the people of Amiens are expected in Brittany, to challenge the Corsairs of Saint-Malo. A team that Joël Nayet’s club has not forgotten since last spring, it eliminated the Samarians from the play-offs for accession. Before the RCA dominates Maisons-Laffitte at the end of the suspense in the barrage, to win despite everything the rise in Federal 2.

St Malo beaten at home in opening

But the confrontation against the Malouins left its mark, especially the defeat at home. Martin Saleille’s players, especially those – and there are many of them – who were already at the club last season, are therefore thirsty for revenge. Moreover, at the end of the match against Orsay last Sunday, when talking about what happened next, several of them recalled that they had a bad memory to erase. Beyond the spirit of revenge, this match in Ille-et-Vilaine therefore represents the opportunity to confirm the last very good match and to take points to finish in the positive this first block of three encounters before the break next weekend.

Defeated at home in the opening, the Corsairs made up for it by winning on the field of Versailles after turning things around in the second half. They will therefore be keen to get back in front of their audience who will certainly be present in number, as always. It is therefore in hostile land that the Amiens will move, those who could count on the return of the Zimbabwean rookie, Shayne Makombemissing last week.

Note that to approach this match in the best conditions, the Amiens leave for Brittany this Saturday. The reserve will also want to confirm its first victory of the season.
