Tennis, ATP – Los Cabos 2022 tournament: Nakashima dismisses Purcell

American Brandon Nakashima, seeded No. 6, clearly dominated Australian qualifier Max Purcell (6-3, 6-3) and advanced to the quarter-finals of the Los Cabos tournament on Thursday night session, at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center in Cabos San Lucas.

Nakashima, ranked 61st in the ATP, will face Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic, seeded No. 4 in the quarterfinals of the Mexican tournament.

The 21-year-old American tennis player dismissed Japanese qualifier Kaichi Uchida (7-6 [1]6-2), in the previous round of the Los Cabos Open.

Purcell, 234th in the world at ATP, needed three sets to dominate the Swiss Henri Laaksonen (6-3, 3-6, 6-4).
