Tennis, ATP – Washington 2022 tournament: Kyrgios dismisses Paul

Australia’s Nick Kyrgios edged out No. 14 seeded American Tommy Paul (6-3, 6-4) to advance to the Round of 16 of the Washington Tournament at Rock Creek Park Tennis Center in Washington, Thursday night session.

Kyrgios, ranked No. 63 in the ATP, will face No. 4 seed Reilly Opelka in the Round of 16 of the Washington tournament.

Before this meeting on Thursday against Paul, 34th in the world at ATP, the Australian tennis player had largely dominated the American Marcos Giron (6-3, 6-2).
