Tennis tournaments for children

Saint Gervais of Auvergne. Tennis tournaments for children. Last Sunday, the circuit of tennis tournaments in Combrailles for children aged 5 to 9, made its first stop in Saint-Gervais-d’Auvergne.

According to the principle of the Galaxy, set up by the French Tennis Federation, these educational, mixed meetings respect the level established by color of the practice of young athletes and allow children from different clubs to discover players other than those with whom they are used to talking at their tennis school.

The multi-chance tournament formula allows everyone, whether they win or lose, to play the same number of matches. The morning was reserved for purple level players and brought together 13 players.

During the afternoon, 18 young people passed the red balls to each other. The children were members of the clubs of Pionsat, Saint-Eloy-les-Mines, Saint-Georges-Les Ancizes, Marcillat-en-Combrailles, Saint-Gervais and Thiers. The next stage of the circuit will take place in Pions on Sunday 11 December.

The results. Purple level: Simoé Costa (TC Saint-Eloy) beats Ethan Mioche (US Saint-Georges-Les Ancizes). Red level: Jules Delamarre (US Saint-Gervais) beats Axel Ferrandon (USG).
