Tennis, WTA – Budapest 2022 tournament: Tomova dismisses Paolini

Bulgaria’s Viktoriya Tomova edged out No. 3 seed Jasmine Paolini of Italy (4-6, 6-0, 6-2) to advance to the second round of the Budapest tournament at the Római Tennis Academy in Budapest , Tuesday evening session.

Tomova, ranked 109th in the WTA, will face Austrian Julia Grabher in the second round of the Hungarian tournament.
