Tennis, WTA – San Jose 2022 tournament: Rogers dominates Sakkari

American Shelby Rogers beat No. 1 seed Maria Sakkari of Greece unchallenged (6-1, 6-3) and reached the quarter-finals of the San Jose tournament on Thursday night session, at the San Jose State University Tennis Center.

Rogers, ranked 45th in the WTA, will face American Amanda Anisimova in the quarter-finals of the California tournament.

In the previous round of the Californian tournament, the American had clearly dominated the Canadian Bianca Andreescu (6-4, 6-2).
