Tennis, WTA – Seoul 2022 tournament: Maria releases Eugénie Bouchard

Germany’s Tatjana Maria, seeded No. 7, won two sets to nil (7-6 [5]7-6 [5]) against Canadian Eugénie Bouchard and won the second round of the Seoul tournament at Seoul Olympic Park on Tuesday morning.

Maria, ranked 80th in the WTA, will face Kimberly Birrell in the second round of the Korean tournament.
