The sale of Angers “is no longer relevant” according to President Saïd Chabane

Angers will most certainly remain the property of Saïd Chabane. The latter took advantage of the presentation of the new stand at the Raymond-Kopa stadium and a press conference to announce on Friday that he no longer planned to sell his shares to the American investment fund which had shown interest.

In comments reported by West France, the Franco-Algerian businessman explained this turnaround when the sale had been announced to the employees. “We all discovered at the same time the article from L’Équipe which, unfortunately, is a truth. A fund withdrew for a governance reason. What was planned at the start cannot be done today. The participation price as received is no longer relevant”, he detailed.

always according to West France, the president assured that the sale of Angers would not take place during the coming season. And this even if the club remains attractive and a minority capital price by the American fund (Global Football Corporation) is still possible.
