The second repair of the tennis court cost 4,800 euros

On Sunday, Anita Benier, mayor of Baccon, Caroline Janvier, deputy, Bruno Bourgeois, treasurer, and François Moreau, president of the tennis club, proceeded to the inauguration of the renovation works of the tennis court. This work was financed by the municipality at a cost of 4,800 euros.

An air barbecue followed this event, bringing together around forty guests. On this occasion, François Moreau made a point: “The tennis court dates from the 1980s and this is the second time that the surface has been renovated, thanks to the support of the municipality. »

There are currently around thirty members and the number rose to nearly 80 shortly before the Covid period. “We offer lessons by a state-certified educator in July and August,” explains the president. “The rates of 7 euros for adults and 5 euros for children under 16 are attractive. »

Annual membership, in 2022, is 23 euros for adults and 12.50 euros for children under 16. “Registration takes place in April but it is possible to register all year round at a preferential rate”, concluded François Moreau.
