The yellow and black staff and the former scrum Léo Coly could be distinguished for their 2021-2022 season, during the ceremony on Monday September 26 which will take place in Paris.

Monday, September 26, at the Olympia, the 18th edition of Rugby Night will take place, awarding trophies for the 2021-2022 season. First in the regular phase of Pro D2, with 106 points, for one of the best seasons in its history, Stade Montois is logically highlighted in several categories.

The yellow and black staff, worn by manager Patrick Milhet and coaches Stéphane Prosper, Rémi Talès and Julien Tastet, is thus one of the nominees (following the coaches’ vote) for the “best staff in Pro D2”, along with Aviron Bayonnais of ex-manager Yannick Bru, champion of France, and Nevers of Xavier Péméja, semi-finalist last season, beaten by… Stade Montois.

Léo Coly finished best director of Pro D2 (305 points) and notably scored 11 tries.

A former Stade Montois player is also (doubly) honored. Scrum-half Léo Coly, who left for Montpellier last summer to discover the Top 14, is indeed nominated (following the players’ vote) in the “Best Pro D2 player” category – along with Rémy Baget (Aviron Bayonnais) and Ange Capuozzo (Grenoble then Stade Toulousain) – and in that of the “Revelation”, just like Ange Capuozzo (Grenoble Rugby then Stade Toulousain) and Émilien Gailleton (SU Agen then Section Paloise)
