Valence d’Agen. Rugby: Victor Yzabel, new recruit

With the heat wave raging at the moment (and it’s not over), we think more about keeping cool and yet, the Valencian rugby players are in the middle of a preparation phase. This year the “sky and white” club has notably recruited players from the sector such as Lilian Bousignac, the first who we presented in our edition yesterday Saturday. The second that we maneuvered in the middle of the objective, Victor Ysabel 25 years old, 1 m 80.100 kg, plays as a hooker, and he too is from Tarn-et-Garonne. Originally from Castelsarrasi, the neo-Valencian went to rugby school at the CAC before heading to the regional capital and playing at Stade Toulousain. “I played seven seasons in this club, going through the different categories up to hopefuls. I was trained by former Stade players, David Gérard, Hugues Miorin and Nicolas Tranier, among others. Then I came back at Castel where I played two seasons as seniors then I signed a season at Castanet before joining Lavaur for two seasons. And here I am here”, confides the new recruit. It was the new coach of Avenir Valencian Nicolas Crubilé who convinced him to follow him to Valencia. The player frequents his sports structure. He was therefore well placed to see his qualities. Strong points that we could notice during the oppositions of the last season between Vauréens and Valencians. A fighter, who moves a lot, also on the ground, and valuable for scratching the balls in the rucks, which made Jérôme Pradelle say: “He complicated our lives last season, it is better to have him with us. “For his part, he is delighted to be at his new club and things are clear for him. “We work a lot, with the heat it’s complicated but we have to go through it and be in good shape, it’s important that we are ready from the start, because for me we have to play at the top of the table.”
