Victor Perez finally absent from the Cazoo Open

Appearing on the list of participants this weekend, the French number 1 finally withdrew from the Cazoo Open tournament this week in Wales. Ten tricolors will defend the French chances.

In the field of the tournament until the end of the weekend, Victor Perez will not be at the start of the Cazoo Open by Gareth Bale this Thursday at Celtic Mansion Resort in Wales.

The Tarbais had explained that he wanted to take a long break this summer after his cut and his 34th place in The Open.

The double winner on the tour could return to competition next week at the ISPS Handa World Invitational in a tournament co-sanctioned with the LET and the LPGA.

But he especially indicated that he wanted to arrive “fresh and available” for the important tournaments of the start of the school year. That is to say from Crans sur Sierre to the French Open.

Before showing up at the Golf National from September 22 to 25he will play the BMW PGA Championship in Wentworth and certainly the Italian Open on the course of the next Ryder Cup, the Marco Simone Golf Club.
