What audience for the final of the Women’s Football Euro between England and Germany broadcast here at 6 p.m. on TF1 and Canal?

England won the first women’s euro in its history at home on Sunday by defeating Germany, eight times winner of the event, after extra time (2-1) in a packed Wembley stadium.

In front of more than 87,000 spectators, a Euro record, men and women combined, Chloe Kelly delivered the “Lionesses” in the 111th minute. During regulation time, Lina Magull (79th) responded to Ella Toone (62nd).

Note that at 7:50 p.m., the broadcast of the meeting switched to TMC. The match attracted 2.4 million viewers and a 15.4% market share on TF1 and 514,000 on Canal Plus.
