World handball sends its congratulations to Senegal for the organization of the African Women’s Championship

The International Handball Federation congratulated Senegal for “the good organization” of the 25th African Women’s Handball Nations Championship, which took place from November 9 to 19 on Senegalese soil.

In a letter to the Senegalese Handball Federation, the president of the international body for this sport, Hassan Moustafa, hails the “good organization of the tournament” which was held in Diamniadio (west).

He also praises the “significant efforts” made by Senegal for the development of handball.

Hassan Moustafa also sent his “sincere congratulations” to the Senegal national team for qualifying for the next Women’s World Handball Championship, to be held in Denmark, Norway and Sweden from November 30 to December 17, 2023.

Senegal took fourth place in the 25th African Women’s Handball Championship. Angola are winners of the tournament for the 15th time, including four times in a row.
